Sargassum is a seasonal seaweed that affects Caribbean beaches, typically between March and September. Las Terrazas has the only dedicated Surf Rake machine on Ambergris Caye. The shoreline is groomed every morning before guests wake up.

San Pedro town is about 3.5 miles south, a 20-minute golf cart ride or water taxi. The resort can arrange golf cart rental for island exploring, or the concierge can book taxis. Secret Beach is a 15-minute drive north.

Yes. Las Terrazas has one of the largest stretches of private white sand beach on Ambergris Caye. Sargassum (seaweed) can appear seasonally throughout the Caribbean, but our team maintains the beach daily and the island has invested in removal equipment to minimize impact.

Book these in advance, especially during busy travel periods. They are limited by weather, schedules, and operator availability.

We recommend booking 9 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak season (December through April). Elopements and intimate ceremonies can often be arranged with shorter lead times.

Yes. Fly into Belize City (BZE), then take a 20-minute domestic flight to San Pedro. Our driver meets you at the airstrip and brings you to the marina, where a private boat takes you to the resort in about 10 minutes. Add transfers during booking or contact the concierge.

The 70-foot infinity pool is the centerpiece of the resort. It\'s large enough for laps, surrounded by lounge chairs and private cabanas, with Jugo Poolside Bar for drinks and fresh juices. Open from sunrise to sunset.

Belize has brief tropical showers that typically pass quickly. Your wedding coordinator will have a backup plan ready, including covered areas at O Restaurant and the Rooftop Sky Lounge. Many couples find that a short rain shower makes for dramatic, memorable photos.
