Away from town
Nice quiet hotel, 20 minutes away from the bustle of San Pedro. The room was nice with space for everyone. You cannot drink the water despite previous information provided. Went to a local market and bought water to store in the fridge. The pool is cooler than the ocean which is a reprieve, the beach is combed daily to remove the dead seagrass.

Family friendly, warm and welcoming personnel!
We, a family of five with children aged 8 and 17, spent nearly two weeks in San Pedro at Las Terrazas. This is a wonderful resort with an excellent pool and beach. The staff is very friendly and warm, including the restaurant staff, the guy on the beach (highly recommend sailing with him), and the ladies at the reception.

BEST RESORT EVER!!!
Wow I have no words to even describe what an amazing time I had at Las Terrazas! Everyone was so friendly from the moment I got to the island to the moment I left. The food was amazing, drinks were so good and the vibes were just perfect. The staff is honestly the best part of this resort, as they are all such wonderful & beautiful people.

If you want to get away from the crowd....perfect
A lovely resort and location although it is quite a distance from town, this can either be a blessing or a problem depending on the style of vacation you desire. The staff was friendly and helpful with top notch service. I found the pool water to be of perfect temperature to be cool without being chilly and having a restroom near the pool saves having to run to the room dripping wet.

Exceeded Expectations!
We had an unexpected stay at Las Terrazas after needing to leave the jungle because of wildfires. They blew us away and exceeded all expectations. The property was very clean and well-taken care of. We booked a 3-BR Beachfront Villa and it was immaculate. All of the staff was so kind and helpful and food was great. Will definitely be going back!

The resort was amazing! It was so clean, relaxing and had some spectacular staff. The food was delicious and we made sure we were at breakfast every morning. The amenities included things that we did not expect, a washer and dryer a beautiful beach, and the swimming pool was so very beautiful. I must say, the staff exceeded our expectations.

Amazing!
I stayed here with family for my 50th birthday! It was amazing and beautiful! The staff were amazing always making sure we were alright and checking to see if we needed anything. A must stay! Don't miss out on this gem!
I was really impressed with the calm beauty of the property. I felt relaxed and enjoyed my time around the pool as well as the beach. My understanding is that they have just received all new outdoor furniture for the pool, beach and all outdoor seating in each room type. The property is apparently upgrading during this year and have already replaced all bathroom amenities, and bed linen.

Amazing boutique hotel with a beautiful pool, quiet well kept beach, delicious onsite restaurant and a fantastic staff.
Leaving the island after a wonderful week at Las Terrazas! Beautiful boutique hotel 3.5 miles north of San Pedro. The stay was full of relaxation by the beach and poolside with the best staff being attentive to our every need. We loved the location as it is easy golf cart ride to secret beach or town and everything in between.

The staff and the food at O Restaurant at Las Terrazas are unbeatable!
We had six women in the three bedroom villa for a fun girls trip. The staff was amazing - Angel in particular. He was assigned as the butler for our room. He met us at the dock in San Pedro when we arrived and was available to us throughout our entire stay. He checked in on us, arranged our golf cart rental, gave us tips for places to visit, made dinner reservations and added so much to our stay to make it so enjoyable.

Perfect Anniversary Trip
My husband and I stayed 6 nights in a beautiful 2nd floor two bedroom suite with an ocean view. The room was very clean as was the whole resort but the service and staff were really extraordinary. From the friendly chat with Jafphet on the boat to the resort from San Pedro to the amazing Naiely at the reception desk to Joel who introduced himself as our butler for our stay, we were humbled by the friendliness and kindness of everyone.

An amazing experience all around, highly recommended
Loved our recent 6-day stay. The rooms were newly remodeled (brand new towels), the food at the restaurant was great (especially the fish tacos!). We arranged all our activities through them and all went very smoothly. Service was excellent, the staff was pleasant, the masseuses skilled, and Yoel the activities coordinator was outstanding.

Las Terrazas did not disappoint! Highly recommend!
It was wonderful to spend our Christmas at this hotel. Our room was spacious with robes and slippers and a full kitchen. We had golf carts every day to move around from anything like the grocery store to secret beach with clear, blue water, which had a waterpark that the kids loved! The pool was relaxing, and the food was delicious.

Vacationing
We just arrived today and were greeted and very attentive. We had dinner tonight and the food was amazing, Edwin made an amazing Cesar salad, in addition to giving us some history behind the creation the Cesar salad. Since it was a holiday here they were celebrating garifuna settlement day and we had so entertainment and to our surprise Edwin was part of the entertainment with his fire dance which the kids really enjoyed.

December...avoid this time due to noise
Our luck that they had very noisy pumps running to suck sand from the ocean to the beach every day. Not even Sunday off. 70dBA at out patio. Very expensive restaurant. $45 usd for a not very good seafood soup was also a disappointment. Big rooms and got a nice upgrade to a large 3 bed room. Staff very attentive. Very safe area.

Great accommodation!
This resort is spectacular. Super large, comfortable, complete and clean! The villas are very comfortable, very well equipped, top kind of amenities: dressing room, double bathroom, super comfortable camera, dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, laundry (very useful in these climates) The views of the Caribbean Sea are dreamt of and has a small beach with beach amenities.

Fantastic place to stay on Ambergris
The resort is beautiful!! They have a fantastic beach space, the best dock on the island, and the restaurant has incredible food. From the rancheros and waffles for breakfast to the best fish tacos to Belizean fried queen snapper for dinner - so good. The staff was hands down amazing. They all knew us by name and the other way around.

Nice but could have been better!
My girlfriends and I stayed here last week and we definitely had an interesting stay. The staff was SO friendly. We knew almost everyone by name when we left. The pool area is beautiful but beach was covered in sargassum while we were there and the dock had uneven boards, so the ocean area wasn't as inviting as the pool.

SPECTACULAR MEAL!!
Ok…so, I just had one of the best meals I've ever had in my 8 years here on the island! Heck, maybe even ever!!! We went to Las Terrazas Resort & Residences they have really outdone themselves with this SPECTACULAR meal. Can't say enough good things about it! From the table side fresh Caesar salad to the absolutely amazing salted queen snapper also served up table side and the delicious sides to accompany it.

The Secret's Out!
I can't say enough about this beautiful, quaint resort! All staff is super attentive, accommodating and kind! They provide a locked safe to keep your valuables in. 24/7 security onsite and free parking. We stayed in unit 133, 1700 sq ft, perfectly appointed condo with fully equipped kitchen to include dishwasher and washer/dryer.

I cannot say enough about the Las Terrazas Resort on Ambergris Caye. It is a 49 suite boutique hotel with great prices. Their hotel staff is top notch. Most greeted us by name. Ms Gris, Sarai, and Suzy ran the front desk with charm and helped us with any need we had. Nelson made sure our excursions were exactly what we wanted! The restaurant and bar staff spoke to us like old friends.

Great honeymoon destination for couples with amazing staff.
We stayed at Las Terrazas Resort for our honeymoon. It was our first time ever in Belize. From the moment we booked the hotel we received great communication with Nelson who helped us book our travel arrangements to get to the island of San Pedro. 5-Star Experience at Las Terrazas

Great visit to Las Terrazas
I really enjoyed my stay at Las Terrazas. It's a nicely maintained property with great staff and lots of amenities. All of the front desk staff was amazing! Especially Raquel who helped navigate an issue with a tour for me! I went solo and felt very safe, not just at the resort but all over San Pedro, which was great for my first solo trip.

Fantastic Isla de Bonita
Absolutely excellent little resort on a wonderful little island. Rooms have cold a/c, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchens and we had a very nice beach view balcony. Beautiful pool and beach. Staff is very friendly/helpful. They helped prearrange transfers and excursions before we arrived. They also have golf cart rentals on site to get around San Pedro.

Relaxing Belize!
Las Terrazas is a very relaxing boutique resort. There is not much to do there on the premises except relax by the pool, beach and enjoy some great eats at their restaurant O. They will pick you up via boat or van from the ferry. Byron was extremely helpful planning this journey. You can plan fun excursions but make sure you rent a buggy/golf cart.

This resort is a special place. The accommodations were great with all amenities. The staff were welcoming, accessible and helpful. The restaurant on the property, O, has the best food on the island. Fancy and delicious without being pretentious. The white sand beach is steps from your room. The pool is great.

Watch out for hotel staff thieves!
Me and my girlfriends went for a five days vacation, we got welcomed very well and part of the staff was extremely nice, especially Beverly, Karla and Wendy! But unfortunately on the other side, on the second day, during the cleaning of the room, one of my girlfriend's 14K gold anklet was stolen. She then informed the front desk and ask to speak to a manager, but that took a long time before to do so, they were like procrastinating.

Great place to stay
The room was big, stocked with coffee and water, and the bed was big and comfortable. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. The beach and pool were both beautiful. We had breakfast included and everything we tried was delicious. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice and it's not too far (in a golf cart) from a couple of other highly rated places like Capricorn or the Truck Stop.

Amazing Vacation at Las Terrazas
The staff paid attention to detail, the resort is absolutely beautiful and our visit to Belize was so memorable! We were picked up from the local airport by friendly resort staff and had a scenic boat ride where we saw a hammer shark chasing a string ray!

Sister/couple Trip
Ambergris Caye is one of my favorite places and Las Terrazas Resort is my favorite place to stay when I'm there. We were married at this resort last year and returned this year with family for our annual sister and significant other trip. We had an awesome time. The staff is amazing. Our rooms were great. The property is the perfect place to sit back and spend time together.

World class resort, world class service, world class amenities, real class food. A great way to enjoy Belize with a sanctuary to escape the busyness of this developing tourist island. We had a beautiful week at Las Terrazas. The resort is lovely and well maintained. The ocean views were incredible and we spent a lot of time in the cabanas enjoying the sea breezes. We loved staying here. We stayed in a 3 room villa and it was SO much room. I loved it. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The resort is very quiet, safe, clean and family friendly. Beautiful resort. Very clean. Quiet but not far from anything you want to do. We rented a golf cart and they had it there for us as soon as we arrived. We were able to get everywhere from the resort but it was away from the crazy, busy, loud area of San Pedro. Easy drive on golf cart to Secret Beach. Food was great. Spa was wonderful. Best massage I've had at a resort.

Pre-arrival, they were always prompt with email responses answering all of my questions. They even booked my flight, ferries, and taxis, to get to and from the resort from BZE which was incredibly helpful. They also booked some excursions for us. Once there, our trip was great and the staff was always above and beyond.

Good location. Needs updating
We spent 3 nights at this resort and it had its pros and cons. Overall it was a nice place and probably had more amenities than others on the Caye. Pros: pool area was very nice, beach was great and overall the staff was nice and helpful. Cons: the smell from the cleaning supplies in our room was overwhelming and awful.

Amazing culture, food and beautiful resort!
This was an amazing trip! This resort is farther north but very quiet and private. The beach was well groomed, the staff were accommodating and we even witnessed a beautiful wedding on the beach out front. We stayed in unit 133 which was very spacious and comfortable! We slept so well in the master bed, the AC was great on the hotter days, and we had a washer and dryer in unit.

Relaxation to the MAX
We were staying in a suite on the top floor of one of the buildings, and it was spectacular, which included our own soaking pool. We spent a lot of time at the resort, so we really got to experience all they had to offer. The main pool was great, and the servers would bring your drinks and food to the pool or the beach.

Total Relaxation!
My family and I stayed at Las Terrazas for almost a week. As soon as we checked in we were offered a great drink and it was automatic relaxation time. The staff were courteous and helpful for the entire stay. Our days were spent alternating between the pool and the beach. If we wanted to go into San Pedro for a bit golf carts are available.

A week of sun, sand and ocean.
Beautiful property, well maintained and the staff is what you would expect at an iPrefer hotel, friendly and efficient. Without much effort you can walk along the beach all the way to San Pedro. Went out to the flats to chase bonefish a couple of days and consumed a fair amount of gin!

Everything you need
As you can see from their website, they have everything you need. Fine dining on the grounds, pool, beach, security, dock, and well furnished apartments or suites. We could not have asked for anything better. All staff were quite attentive as well. We had a slight water pressure issue, but it was fixed.

An excellent 4 days on Ambergris Caye
As someone who seldom travels outside the US I appreciated the level of organization provided by the resort. All transportation was handled from leaving Belize International until the return. Transportation on the Island is by golf cart and the resort simplified the acquisition and return. Quality of the facility was excellent and the pool was especially nice.

Beautiful grounds
The grounds were beautiful! The villa we stayed in was so beautiful and spacious. The room on the top floor has amazing views of the resort. The pool is to die for. It's so relaxing. The drinks were strong just how I like it. The staff were amazing. They were able to recommend many things to do and offered to book excursions for us if needed.

Great atmosphere and service. Clean and lots to do on the beach areas. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are very spacious, and extremely clean. Full kitchen and washer/dryer. Great place to either stay at the resort and relax on the pool/at the beach or get a golf cart and go exploring!

Hidden gem!
A hidden gem! The suits were modern and well appointed, and the beds were comfortable. There is direct access to a small, quiet beach area with water swings, kayaks, hammocks, chairs etc and a dock/boat for water travel. The staff works very hard and is constantly moving. The concierge arranged two pick-up/drop-offs, a golf cart rental, and a snorkeling adventure all on very little notice.

The place to stay in San Pedro!
We came here for a friend's wedding which was held on the beachfront of this boutique hotel. They went over and beyond to setup a sunset wedding and most importantly all the staff felt like they were truly celebrating the amazing night. Prior to planning our trip, their concierge was super friendly answering all our questions and ensuring we felt comfortable before booking the room.

Underwhelming
We booked a 3 bedroom villa. Given the luxurious online pictures, the in-person impression was underwhelming to say the least. The room had a smell and so did the water. Bedroom furniture upholstery stained. Welcome by front desk staff upon arrival was cold and not what we wanted to experience after the long full-day journey.

We had a wonderful time, the staff was awesome all extremely helpful. Edgar made us an amazing Cesar salad and he was wonderful with his fire show. We spent 4 days and would definitely go back. We enjoyed the paddle boards. Beautiful sunrise Edgar was very personable and he made us a delicious Cesar salad.

Good not brilliant
The staff, pool and accommodation are lovely, but the beach is a real let down. The whole east side of the island the sea is full of sea grass so there is no lovely blue clear water, just a murky brown sea, which frankly is not what you've paid a lot of money for. Secret Beach on the West Coast is better but you have to drive a golf cart on dodgy dirt roads for half an hour to reach it.

Friendly Staff, but rain causes issues
The resort is very nice. We were there for a wedding. The staff is extremely friendly. I want to give the resort 5 stars, but seemed all of our rooms had maintenance issues. When it rained, there were leaks. For us, the leaks came from the ceiling and the sliding glass door. We had issues getting hot water the first day, but maintenance repaired that.

Disappointed
Went with my son and scrolled through reviews to pick the best suited place. I splurged on the penthouse after much deliberation. The pictures had a luxurious tub, private patio with plunge pool and a swimmable beach with activities. I splurged at $500 a night and was disappointed. The staff was friendly and food was great but accommodations left much to be desired.

Quiet and peaceful place to stay!
Beautiful beach entrance! Went on a girls trip April 2024. Spring break. We had a two bedroom suite with full kitchen and living room plunge pool on the terrace. Beware this is on the third floor. No elevators. Room was slightly dated furniture. Pretty worn. View was nice for a courtyard. Staff was friendly enough.

Very nice, perfectly lovely place to stay for a few days.
It is perfectly nice. Staff are attentive and friendly and the food is good. The soft furnishings are a bit faded and could use an update. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were three outdoor seating areas with chairs and loungers. The hotel is not close to anything so you will either have to take a very expensive taxi or rent a golf cart (USD 80 for 24 hours) to get anywhere.

Good but lots of room for improvement!
It is a beautiful location on Ambergris Caye and the staff we interacted with were wonderful. The pool and grounds were relaxing and perfection and the few meals/drinks were delicious. That said, there are lots of opportunities for improvement, especially if going for a higher end resort. The rooms are in need of a refresh from the dated decor, peeling paint, broken bathroom fixtures, broken coffee machine.
