What happens

Past the reef

Meet at the resort dock. Board the tournament boat and head straight for the barrier reef. In five minutes you cross over and the ocean drops to deep blue. The crew rigs up to 7 trolling lines as the captain reads the water for signs of game fish.

Troll the deep

Cruise the open Caribbean with lines out. Marlin, sailfish, wahoo, mahi mahi, tuna, king mackerel, and black grouper are the targets. When a fish strikes, the mate hands you the fighting rod and coaches you through the fight. The crew handles gaffing and landing.

Back to the dock

Return to the resort. The crew cleans and fillets your catch. Keep what you want and bring it to the resort chef for dinner, or release the big game fish for the next angler.
